Hoping you all aren’t sick of these newbie posts…. I’m excited to join the community!
First store I went to turned me on to Canik which confirmed some YouTube videos and articles I read that also mentioned this brand.
As a beginner the obvious answer is that I won’t see a difference between a TP9 and Mete, right? TP9 seems to have some cheaper options which is enticing since I don’t see this being a HUGE hobby for me.
I also have more of a general question, what kind of difference would I see between a 3.6 or 4.2 barrel?? I’m not a big guy (5’8, 135) so I feel a bigger gun is harder to control with my smaller hands, but I also understand longer barrel means less recoil and more control. Am I missing anything?
The salesperson explained I would be able to upgrade and/or put more toys on the Mete down the line due to co-witnessing capability. Is that for sure not possible with TP9?
Am I limiting myself to anything with the TP9 option for just a small-time hobby?? Am I still spending too much for a first time gun that won’t be used a whole ton? What SHOULD I care about? I understand grip feel is important, but I’ll over think what feels best in my hand every time so that won’t help my decision. I need more concrete logic to make my decision lol
