What are some techniques for avoiding sink-holes?
Post Body
I made 5x 100% soy candles with various fragrances (poured fragrance at srund 60C, and poured the candles into room temperature candle jars at around 80C. The toom temp on that day was around 30*C.
I had fans on to help cool the space down, as it was a crazy hot day, however noticed I had sink-holes near the wick. Not a problem Iโve experienced before with this soy wax and same glass jars, on days with less heat. Any ideas on what could have caused this?
Also, is it possible to re-melt the candle in say, an oven to get a smooth surface again? I donโt have a heat-gun, and a hair-dryer seems too aggressive.
Thanks in advance.
