Hello all, Back in March this year, I was diagnosed with terminal transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) that has spread to near by lymph nodes thus is inoperable. Unfortunately for me it is growing on my kidney transplant, that means Iām not a suitable for immunotherapy. Finally started chemo this month. My oncologist has given me nine months as an average life expectancy for people with TCC. My problem with this diagnosis is if feel fine in myself, mild discomfort at times and some minor side effects from the chemo. I appreciate that I am on the early stages of this journey and I feel bless that I do feel so well currently.
My question for the group is what can I expect on the road ahead, I appreciate of course everyone is different. However has anybody got experience with TCC and how the disease progress? I would like to know what I might expect in the future so I can plan as much as humanly possible.
Thank you in advance.
