Medulloblastoma
Post Body

Hey this is my first post ever, really just looking for some help and support. I'm 19 I was diagnosed with medulloblastoma at 18, which is a cancerous brain tumor usually found in children. I'm currently in remission. I've taken radiation and am supposed to finish chemo around December. Sometimes it's just really hard to handle emotionally. I try to keep my feelings to myself so I won't worry my parents, siblings, or my girlfriend. My problem is I've lost my balance which means I can't walk normally. I walk with my cane now. I'm supposed to do exercises that my physical therapist taught me but I do not have any motivation. I just can't. Maybe this is a stupid question to ask since I'm obviously being lazy, but how do I become motivated? I want to get better, but that's not going to happen sitting around. I want to be better for my girlfriend, for me, and for my family. Also, do you guys know any exercises to do? My left arm has lost most of it's functionality but I don't have an occupational therapist so I don't know exercises to help my hand get better. I just want to do what my friends are doing like finishing their first year of college or buying a car.
