Hiccups on Hospice care.

Post Body
My mother had a few episodes of what appeared to be hiccups. Sheβs unresponsive and on liquid meds no food or water(per hospice advice/ aspirating issues). Are they normal at this stage? I figured her diaphragm was irritated? It was hard to watch and not be able to help. Thank you for your advice. π
