I was crossing the road today in tuggernong. I got a green and crossed and of course the green turned to a flashing red person within 4 seconds of walking. This car with 2 older women was turing left around the corner where I was walking and they began to swear at me and beep the horn while I finished crossing. I'm a pretty fast walker so I wasn't crossing at snail speed. I got spooked by the whole thing and was pretty angry.

I see so many drivers come too close to hitting pedestrians while they are turning... its a bit annoying sometimes having to wait for someone to cross but people should be more careful and patient sometimes.

I also think the ammount of time you have to cross with a green man is ridiculous... you'd have to be running to get across during the time that it's green.

Anyway, I don't think I was in the wrong here but idk. I began walking while the man was green. Isn't a red flashing man the equivalent of a orange traffic light?
