Looking for sources/proof of the Liberal surplus vs. the Conservative deficit
Post Body
Hi r/canada,
I know there was a surplus when the Liberal Party was in power, and I know there is currently a deficit. I'm looking for an article or graph or something similar to show this.
I've also heard that historically, the Conservatives create deficit while the Liberals create surplus. I'm not sure if this is true or not.
Is there a list or graph of all deficits and surpluses by year? If not, where can I go to find the numbers and maybe make a list/graph myself?
Thanks.
