Some cursory googling isn't really telling me much about
- Did young people turn out to vote?
- How did different demographic groups vote, and what kind of turnout, relative to their population exists?
Really the 'young people' question is one I want answered. As a non-Canadian, I think that young voter engagement and turnout will shape the elections in the US; and my guess is that Canada could have been a sneak preview of how existing political narratives didn't match the actual election results. (I have a variety of arguments here, but they mostly pin on young adults turning out to vote far more than expected.
(nb. sorry if this breaks the reddit somehow, and I'll also be posing the question to fivethirtyeight / /u/natesilver to see if I can get answers from them too, which I will post here if I do.
