Bought a new cabin tent and I will DIY seam seal it to ensure it's ready for Florida rainy weather. I see a ton of different seam sealers for sale online, any recommendations for what is best and what to avoid? I'm not concerned about UV as much as I am about real water sealing performance and durability from cracking, chipping, and peeling. While I could slather clear silicone onto my seams, I don't think that's the best option. Taping might be too difficult in corners and such, and sprays might not be very durable over the longer term. What say ye, fellow Redditors who are experienced tent campers? Thanks in advance for the advice!
