I am in the market for a camp stove. I will be using it primarily for military use.
First will be a month in the desert (conus) followed by a year somewhere undeveloped.
I see myself using it to make the backpack meals and ramen mainly.
I was pretty much decided on the pocket rocket 2 due to the limited space it would take up in my rucksack. My concern is running in out of fuel overseas and not being able to find canisters.
Should I stick with the pocket rocket and pack a couple canisters or would I better served by looking at a different stove? I would have an unlimited supply of jp8 if that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance!!
