Camping in Big Sur (Pfeiffer State Park)
Post Body

Hi everyone,

We will be camping in Pfeiffer State Park in May and we have a few questions/would like advice.

Are there any trails that are walking distance from the campgrounds and lead to a nice beach lookout area? We're hoping for the typical views of the water and cliffs that you would associate Big Sur with. Or do we have to drive to these?

Are there any areas you recommend stopping/pulling over on the drive there or back home? We're coming from San Diego.

In general are there any trails or activities you'd recommend? I know a lot are closed not but I'm assuming (or hoping) they'll be back open by May.

Also, is the Mcway waterfall accessible from there?

Thanks!
