Which would you rather be; a Greek/Roman demigod, an Egyptian magician, or a Norse einherji? (Follow-up questions include being a child of the Big Three, being the Eye of a high-tier god, or a Norse demigod, berserker, or mortal).
Personally, I'd go with a magician. Being a Greek/Roman demigod automatically means you have monsters following you everywhere, wanting to kill you. Or you're ignored by your godly parent (rare exceptions don't count as they are just that; rare exceptions). Not to mention that you have to deal with the most dysfunctional family in existence (the Olympians), who'd kill you or mess with your life on a whim, and are just all-around terrible people. You also have to deal with confusing prophecies and the annoying Fates.
Being a Norse einherji would be cool (Hotel Valhalla is way cooler than Camp Half-Blood/Jupiter and any Nome in my opinion) and the immortality schtick is cool... unless you step out of Valhalla. And the fact that you're essentially waiting for the Norse Doomsday to occur. Not to mention that you eventually go insane from waiting).
A magician is cool because I have magic, am essentially going to Egyptian Hogwarts, and am likely to get to host a god for more power.
