Why were people so willing to forgive Silena in TLO when it was revealed that she was a traitor (both in the books and the fandom)? But aren't willing to forgive Luke?
She was indirectly responsible for poisoning Thalia's true, and was also indirectly responsible for killing Beckendorf (cuz Kronos knew that Percy and Beckendorf were coming to blow his ship up). Not to mention that I'm guessing most of the plans for the strategies during the Titan War were leaked to Kronos (possibly).
Luke (imo) is somewhat justified because of his reasons for going traitor. Silena revealed that she had a crush on Luke and did what she did because of it (and while also crushing on Beckendorf as well, I'd imagine). The reasoning for her isnt valid enough when compared.
And those saying she was manipulated... the same argument could be said for Luke by Kronos
