Do y'all prefer hardcover or paper back books?

I have amassed quite a library of 99% of all the books and they're all hardcover (with a few exceptions). I have seen many posts of you guys showing your collection and many of them being paper back. I want to know how many of you guys prefer hardcover to paper back and vice versa.
Personally I like hardcovers I feel like they're going to last me a lot longer, and with paperbacks whenever you read them they kind of do that thing where they just won't close properly and bend.
