‼️ Spoilers ahead for Heroes of Olympus up to House of Hades!

I’m rereading the books and am now in the part where Hazel and Jason are alone and have to meet a thief. Here, Hazel has an internal monologue about Jason, and how she couldn’t get a read on him, and how she’s only ever heard of legends about him when she arrived at Camp Jupiter. I was immediately confused by this since I can remember in the earlier books that Hazel talked about Jason as if they’ve been friends before he disappeared in The Lost Hero. I went back to the books and sure enough, they did meet in Camp Jupiter and were friends in the Twelfth Cohort.

Did anyone else notice this? Now I’m extremely bothered and can’t get past the scene 😅 I really hate discovering plot holes—if this can even be considered that?
