To me at least, it seems really stupid to try and prank the son of poseidon by throwing him in a lake. So my question is, to what degree did the campers know what they were actually doing? Like were they somehow all completely unaware? Did clarisee decide to give this one to percy and Annabeth and use the thrill of the moment to trick her fellow campers (cause if I remember right she was the one who suggested the idea)?
