Pjo endeared me with it's humor and characters, Hoo sank it's claws in me with it's intense drama and world ending stakes, I could hardly put down the first 2 series', but I'm having trouble just picking up trials of Apollo. I'm a little ways through the dark prophecy, when the trio are first bunking up with Josephine and Emmie, so no spoilers please, but does it get better? I haven't had this hard of a time reading a Riordan book since the lost hero
I'm not sure what it is, maybe it's Apollo as a character, maybe it's going back to first person, I'm not sure, but I'm having a hard time just reading through the trials of apollo
