so im currently in a calorie deficit and am only allowing myself to eat 1700 calories a day or less. today is sunday and my family often does a thing called "sunday fun day" where we all hang out and cook good food. i want to participate but it's hard to not feel guilty if i accidentally go over those 1700 calories. i think it's important to note that i only started calorie counting recently and it has been working really well for me! i find it easy most days to stay within the lines ive set for myself because i dont eat calorie dense food like i used to. i still want to participate but i dont want to feel guilty for it. would one cheat day really hurt?
