My roommate is helping me learn about all this stuff and they said I should aim for 500 and that 1000 is too much and would put me into whatever starvation mode is and I wouldn't lose any weight. But from the stuff I've been looking at it says its a little extreme but I'd still lose weight, about two pounds a week.
I'm 320 pounds and I really want to lose weight as soon as possible to take the pressure off my joints and make me feel just better in general but I don't want to make myself go backwards. So is a 1000 deficit okay to do?
