Stopped chewing sideskin of nails but this skin beside thumb got hardened. I need advice.

as others have said, this is a wart. common warts can be treated at home but this is a periungual wart and you should see a doctor about it. If you can’t afford it, just know that it’s not harmful besides maybe being painful, and it will likely go away on its own but that can take years without medical intervention. Keep it up on not biting though because constantly having cuts and sores on your fingers likely made you a lot more susceptible to this in the first place.
