Every time I get stressed out, I start picking. I left a really toxic job about 2 months ago, and had finally gotten back into the no pick habit, with nails grown out and getting nice to paint again... and now I'm moving, plus stuck working extra hours at the new job to pick up the slack of someone out sick... and it's back to picking.
Just got into an argument because emotions are running high during the move, and ripped off all the growth on one thumb.
What can I even DO when the urge to pick starts creeping up any time I'm anxious or stressed?
cover that shit up asap and engage with an unrelated activity
