I hope to start running some Call of Cthulhu games soon, and rather than just do stand alone one-shots, I’d like to run several of them as a short campaign. Here’s the order of the scenarios I plan to run.

“The Haunting.”

“The Darkness Beneath the Hill.”

“Servants of the Lake” “Dead Light”

“Ties That Bind”

“The Crack’d and Crook’d Manse”

“Genius Loci” and “Saturnine Chalice”

“None More Black”

“Edge of Darkness”

My idea is that the PCs are Miskatonic U students, and Rupert Merriweather from “Edge of Darkness” is a professor and veteran investigator who introduces them to the Mythos and sets them off on their adventures. Walter Resnick from “None More Black” is his nephew and teacher’s aide.

While the PCs start off to do “Servants of the Lake,” they get interrupted with “Dead Light,” and the same thing will happen when they go off to do “Genius Loci” and get involved with “Saturnine Chalice.”

The campaign ends with “Edge of Darkness,” where Merriweather is on his death bed and asks the students to do one last thing for him…

So I was wondering what everyone thinks would be other good scenarios to stitch together into a campaign, the kinds of characters the players can play, and the premise that would unite the scenarios together.
