Need advice- Aline against the flames

Hey all! So basically this is my first time being a gm. My group typically plays Dnd, although we did a recent Vaesan campaign. We are starting Coc and I am the Keeper. I started Alone against the flames to get myself familiar with the game and had a thought. Could I run this as we fill out character sheets to assist them with building the characters and learning the rules? Is there a way for me to mod it so I can use it as a “tutorial” and character building session? Thanks!
