Context :I work from home but for a physical location. I think I may be three or four states away from the physical location and I’ve actually never been.
About 45 minutes ago I had someone call and asked for the address and I gave that to them and essentially wished them a great day . I just got a call about two minutes ago from the same person saying they are outside, but they don’t see the building. So I pull up my Google maps and try to see if I can direct her from there. I asked her where she was and she said in the parking lot. So then I start to think “what parking lot is she in that she can’t see this big ASH building with company name also HUGE in yellow, on it?” I then asked her “what do you see in front of you” she replied “a tree.” This was when I realized exactly what parking spot she was in because there is a tree in front of it. This woman never even bothered to get out of the car and actually look for the building that she needed to get to.
These people are going to drive me back into restaurant management because at least with that I can make a bonus and a livable wage thinking for other people. I can only imagine why our on-site people keep quitting.
