Update: I got the promotion and I’m off the phones

I posted a few weeks ago that I had applied for a manager job in a different department.
Well it’s official, after 2 and a half years of wearing the headset I am off the phone and now a salaried manager.
Undoubtedly this will come with its own set of headaches. But it’s not the call center. It’s been a pleasure serving with you all.
