...and I loved it. There's so much good about this, so many little details, I'm watching it again and catching little details that I missed. Symbolism, soundtrack, little things like what people are reading (there are a lot more Bukowski references than most people mention) and just consistency (e.g. in a bar scene in season 1 we learn that Charlie's drink is a vodka cranberry, and Hank gives him shit for it, then an episode or two later there's another bar scene and although it isn't mentioned, you can see that he's drinking a vodka cranberry). Some of it is even coincidence (or is it?) such as a scene in season 1 or 2 where Hank is lying in bed with a row of books behind him and the most prominent one is titled "FAITH". Watch the books in this show, and the music references (I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of these, not being a big music guy). They just did such a great job with the details on this show!
I may wind up reading some Bukowski because of this.
