FAE offered in Aug. Any idea on start date?

Got offered back in Aug for FAE in RRU. However, I have not received a start date as of yet. Ive called the Training captain saying possibly January but yet he was unsure as well. All i got was set up for vector solutions and uploaded all my certs that were equivalent to cal fire certs. Just reaching out to see if anyone has some insight on when they might call and tell you a start date or any insight at all on how it will work moving forward. Feds for 9yrs but had to jump the sinking ship quickly. I was also trying to plan my leave out so i can have more than 2 weeks of prep time.
