How does one find the area bounded by two curves that opens to the right and left?

Let’s say we have 3y2 -2x = 0 and 3y2 4x = say, 12. I know the first step is to find the intersection and equate the two but that will leave me with only x = 2 as an intersection. I’m quite lost.

Thanks in advance.
