I haven’t baked a cake in a long time and wanted to do something for my daughter’s first birthday. I wanted to try something new. It’s got a lavender and earl grey cream cheese filling too which worked well with the purple velvet flavour! Trying to get this cake done with a clingy baby is very difficult. It might be a while until I do another cake.
