Pull the trigger on a golden tee fore complete?

Someone in my area has a Golden Tee Fore Complete (no year designation in the banner) for 1500. Has 29 courses loaded. Looks like it's in good condition. The seller may be a pinball/gaming restorer. not sure. Says it has a fresh D2900 monitor and was for home use. Looking for a sanity check on whether this is a decent deal. These seem to go from free to 2.5k depending. thought I would ask the experts.
