GeForce mx250 (4 GB) vs GeForce mx450 (2 GB)
Post Body

Hey. I'm confused between 2 laptops in which the same are of the same price (1150€ in Italy). The first has these specs: . Nvidia GeForce MX450 (2 GB dedicated) . 16 GB memory (2 slots of 8 GB RAM) . Intel i7 G series 11th generation (maximum frequency of 4.7 GHz) . Intel Iris Xe . Battery lasts 8 hours . Aluminum body of 1.75 kg (15.6 inches) . IR 1080p webcam . Fingerprint security

The second has these specs: . Nvidia GeForce MX250 (4 GB dedicated) . 16 GB memory (1 slot of 16 GB RAM) . Intel i7 G series 10th generation (maximum frequency of 3.9 GHz) . Intel Iris Plus . Battery lasts 10 hours . Aluminum body of 1.9 kg (15.6 inches) . 750p webcam

They are basically same HP Pavilion 15 but different configurations and I'm asking on this group because I'm interested in using MATLAB and Simulink, 3D modeling and rendering, CAD, engineering stuffs. I'm just unable to see which CPU and GPU are better for my needs. And no, I'm not interested in gaming much, I may be interested in graphic designing using Adobe Illustrator and a bit of video editing by Adobe After Effects but that's about it.

I hope somebody can shed me a light on something I don't know and help me out in my research.
