Does a queen of the night need dormancy to bloom?
Post Body

Hey I have a large queen of the night probably 3 feet by 2 feet and it’s just exploding with growth all over big time. But I’m worried some of the growth is getting elongated because one side gets more light than the other. It’s in a west facing window. I try to rotate it every other day but it’s just a bit of work and I forget. I was wondering if it needs dormancy to prevent it from getting like that. I was going to give it grow lights but I know a lot of cacti need a cool, dark and dry period of time to allow them to bloom. Any tips help. I can add pictures of the growth I think that is elongated if needed.
