Just got this in today. Ad on Amazon said 40%.
I know the Opuntia can handle full sun all day.
My question is, is shade base for these guys? Or can bright shade be beneficial for them? There are Opuntias that are growing under trees here in North Texas that look amazing.
First few pics are the early morning sun with time stamps and the last few are supposed to show contrast between the sun and shade on the patio.
This last few were taken in the later part of the evening so the sun isnβt as bright.
Order from left to right:
2 types of Opuntia Echinocactus grusonii Some type of Mam Opuntia monacantha Variegata 3 pads from the largest Opuntia Opuntia Macrocenta
And the Kong Coleus in the far side.
