The soil mix is 50/50 Calloways cactus soil and expanded shale.
He was in my window for a few months and really shot up after I got him into the new mix.
And now I’ve worked them into the sun from about 8am to 2pm I am in zone 8b. Just north of dallas.
It’s outside with my mammillaria and golden barre.
1) I know the pink is sun exposure, but does it look ok? He’s been outside for about two weeks. The other two (mammillaria and golden) are in heaven with the light.
2) I just let them all sit in the rain for a bit on Sunday to get some actual rain water. (It had been at least two weeks since last water. I kept an eye on the weather so they didn’t get over watered or excessive humidity) it seems a little flimsy and soft…not sure if it’s cuz it’s so small and young, or if there is a deeper problem.
I’ll try to add the video in the comments.
