Help with unidentified spot on unidentified cactus

Hi, I’ve had this cactus for like 3-4 years now in a mix that’s like 30% soil to 70% perlite. Never had any problems, and have actually been watering less often recently.

I noticed this brown spot and I’m hoping it’s not fungal. The idea of chopping it freaks me out.

But yeah I saw it while I watered it for the first time in like a month. The last time I watered it I didn’t see anything and I had waited until it started to look wrinkled. It grows under a grow light, slightly shaded because I thought it might be too direct.

Thoughts? I’d also love an ID. Thank you 🙏
