Cabinet door sizing

Good evening - I have been designing and building cabinets for a few years and all my installs have gone fairly well except for one aspect - DOORS!
Does any one have a fool proof door sizing method that never fails?
Let’s have the example be a 36”w 30”t base cabinet. I use Blum full overlay hinges on a euro frameless box.
