Hey everyone!

really strapped for cash during this holiday season, but had to cover my dishwasher with SOMETHING, so went cheap and bought an Ikea SEKTION cabinet, that apparently is missing 2 inch of width to fit perfectly....

any cheap home depot ideas on how I can add 1 inch extension on each side? my inital thought was just get two pieces of wood 1 inch x 22.5 (length) and screw them between the pieces but figured redditors pros here know better

Also chatGBT still can't do that so
