A bit of an unusual request here. I have been working on an audio project over the past five years involving C64 game music and I just recently finished the final track. I hope to be publishing the result to YouTube soon, but I need to process the 20 hours of music into video chunks, add screens, and all that.
I would like to end each of the music videos with some synthetic applause, as if one were at a concert, but identifying games where I could take those samples is a tricky task. I know ShareData made some game show games like Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune back in the day, but does anyone else have other suggestions? I imagine some sports titles could work, but the field is pretty vast for me to just try to wade through and hope.
EDIT: Thanks everyone for the great suggestions! I will begin checking them out and piecing together a (hopefully) appropriately epic crowd noise. When the final product goes up, I'll be sure to share it with the sub as well.
