Hi guys.
I’ve been put on a BA project which is way more technical than I’m used to and I could do with a steer around the questions to ask the integration specialist and the approach I could take to start this work. For some background I am usually a systems BA working on change requests on our CRM.
The project: A transformation project basically on systems implementation and integration. I’ve been told a lot of design work is needed and this is primarily going to be on integration random data logs from different systems into new systems/to different teams. They want me to work on target system mapping and source mapping and then create the user stories and manage the Jira part of this to push the devs.
This is literally all I’ve been told. I’ve got a meeting with the integration specialist tomorrow and I don’t even know the right questions to ask or the information I need.
What does the ‘design work’ for this kind of system usually consist of? How would I go about working out the mapping?
SOS any help or people familiar with this type of work would be great to hear from!
Thanks!
