Coming from a remote customer service role into a junior, entry level place, I'm wondering if this all wasn't a waste of time.
I signed up for a bootcamp about business analytics because I thought that it would get me closer to becoming a data analyst, but I feel like the scope of the job is pretty far removed from what I was hoping it'd be.
I don't mind presentations, communicating across business organizations/teams, working with others--but it seems to be the kind of field that is traditional office networking to succeed that is often the stereotype of so many generic TV office roles.
I'm hoping a business analyst role is more accessible given my non-traditional background (no degree), but I'm really just looking for any sort of assurance that this role won't chew me up and spit me out a broken man.
Can I make it through as a softspoken shy guy? Thoughts?
Edit: Very thankful for all the responses! Phew, I'm gonna be alright after all
