Creating a DBA, any tips or pitfalls to avoid?
Post Body

Good morning, I'm creating a DBA to take care of building maintenance for the company that I contract for. I already have an S Corp that is still for all of the technical communications/IT work I do, but they asked if I would make a second company for the accounting department. Outside of getting it started and getting a tax ID, is there something that I should do or avoid?

A little background: It's a monthly paid contract for the same amount. They buy all my supplies and tools if I need. I will sometimes need to hire contractors to do some trade work (drywall, plumbing, etc.) and the contract releases me of liability in case of an accident.
