In 2011 I briefly worked for a start-up in NYC that seemed to be primarily funded by quantitative easing. Everyone would always get excited when we found out how much QE we would get for the next quarter. For instance, I remember a co-worker saying how I could have been a millionaire by the summer because of QE2 (although I didn't stay). I never really asked any questions, but I'm curious about what a company has to do to obtain this seemingly magic money. And is this still a thing?
