In Canada, there is a restaurant that has a few locations - I know the original location and a few of the others which opened after that were all owned by the founders. I recently discovered that they are now franchising and I noticed on their website something about looking into bringing the franchise abroad.
The founders also have a recipe book which includes every single thing on their menu (and more) - these recipes are also largely available on the internet. I myself have followed these recipes to recreate a few of their items and these turned out great, tasted the same as when the restaurant makes it (to me at least).
If someone with absolutely zero experience in owning / running a business, wanted to bring this restaurant to London, Iād imagine they have two options - either look into the franchise or open a restaurant serving the exact same menu items and with a similar concept.
What are the questions or things this person should consider in deciding which of these two routes is the best?
Thank you in advance for anything useful :)
