Moving to Burnaby Mountain soon, any tips? Dos and don’ts? Tools and things to make living easier

Hello im excited to get out of the city and move to a more forested area with my wife and pup.
Are the hikes and trails for both walking and biking? Or are there biking only/walking only trails?
I guess when on the mountain carry bear spray and noise makers, any other bear aware tips?
Maybe something im not thinking of?
Sorry if this is silly im just excited and want to be ready
