I've been using this combo for ages and figured I should share. The exact amount of shield gained from Shield Conversion Void Reflect is slightly random, and has a base amount, but comes out to roughly 7 shield per intelligence. Compared to the skill Forcefield which only gives you 1 shield per intelligence it is a decent amount.
Here is a table showing how much shield you get with varying levels of intelligence. Tested with a level 1 Warrior in Labyrinth, using a Void Reflect amulet, Shield Conversion contract and equipping 40 or 30 intelligence parts in the lab.
Intelligence | Shield Gain |
---|---|
0 | 64 |
40 | 294 |
80 | 536 |
120 | 819 |
150 | 1019 |
If you add in Wall of Meat not only will you get a barrier, you also get slightly more shield.
If you find the skill Hell Contract which gives you power equal to your shield for one barrier, you get a lovely loop that will win you the game.
0 Power 0 Shield
Activate Void Reflect 64 Shield
Activate Hell Contract 64 Power, 64 Shield
64 Power, 128 Shield
Activate Void Reflect ~448 Shield
Activate Hell Contract 576 Power, 576 Shield
640 Power, 1,152 Shield
Activate Void Reflect ~4,480 Shield
Activate Hell Contract 5,632 Power, 5,632 Shield
6,272 Power, 11,264 Shield
As you can see, each time you use Void Reflect and then Hell Contract it increases both your power and your shield by ~10x. Hell Contract's power buff lasts three turns and has a cooldown of only 2 turns, so even without a tailwind room you can massively buff yourself.
If you have anything else that combos with Shield Conversion, Void Reflect, Wall of Meat, or Hell Contract post it in the comments!
