Finally bought some Burial records... did I get the good stuff???
Post Body

TL;DR: the records I bought were Claustro / State Forest and Truant / Rough Sleeper.

I'm asking here because I want the opinion of Burial obsessives... As a background, I definitely have some familiarity with Burial, mostly the LPs but whenever a new EP or single would come out I would usually download it and get into the tracks a bit. Somewhere along the line I decided: all these Burial records are good, never really heard one I didn't like, but they all kinda sound the same, so I never really went out of my way to buy any physical copies until now.

I had a cool experience today in the record store with the owner and a guy who had never listened to Burial before. We were all spinning Burial records together and commenting on them. We kept having to second guess the speeds because Burial records often sound warped at any speed. But we found that that was cool, that they were often interesting both 33 and 45. I told the guy who was new to Burial to get Kindred / Loner / Ashtray Wasp because I remembered when it came out and thought it was the coolest Burial record they had there (they also had Antidawn and Young Death / Nightmarket, and maybe one other one).

ANYWAY, I ended up walking out with Claustro / State Forest and Truant / Rough Sleeper. BURIAL EXPERTS please grade my performance here based purely upon the quality of the records, and pretend I didn't have options, because I did feel that the other guy should have Kindred because it was the best one. Actually, while you're at it, give me all your sauciest opinions about Claustro, Truant AND Kindred. Did I just buy some minor Burial records, or did I score some gems in your opinion? What in fact are the best Burial singles and EPs? Am I wrong in thinking they all sound the same? The only one I could pick out of a lineup is Street Halo.
