Prime brisket burger
Post Body

So I’ve been trying to make a great burger like the ones I eat at restaurants, but I’ve been getting a basic boring burger that doesn’t have that great burger taste that stands out. I tried sirloin ground beef, chuck/short rib/brisket, 80/20 and it hasn’t been what I’ve been looking for. I’ve now come across a butcher near my city that has prime black angus beef, and the other beef I’ve tasted weren’t characterized as such, and it has ground prime brisket Patties, but it’s $17/lb. Their ground chuck 80/20 is $14/lb, and since I’ve read that quality of meat and it’s fat content is very important for a great tasting burger, I’ve been considering trying either one, but I just don’t want to be disappointed. How do I get that great standout burger taste that I’m looking for?
