Approached by possible MLM lady at Michaels on Empire
Post Body

Seeing if anyone has experienced this in the Burbank area to see if I’m not crazy: but today while browsing the paint aisle alone I was approached by a woman a bit older than me ( I’m a women in my mid 20s) and she compliments my bag but I notice she isn’t carrying anything or has a cart and proceeds to ask me increasingly personal questions. She very obviously pretends to look around at paint while trying to engage me but eventually gives up when I give her a vague answer to her “what do you do for a living?” question and awkwardly walks away. I walk around and she’s gone. I’m attributing this to some kind of MLM/Pyramid scheme tactic after some thought as I was a younger woman alone but it was so strange and uncomfortably direct. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this happening at the big box stores or mall here in Burbank.
