I (M40) have been an Bupropion XL 150 mg for years now; probably 4 years. I used to pair this with a low dose of Effexor but got sick of the side effects and stopped taking that drug, just sticking with the Bupropion.

Lately I've been beyond stressed and that hopeless feeling returned in a big way so I talked to my PCP and she said we'd up the dose to 300 mg XL tabs.

I just took my first one this morning (they are once a day in the am tabs) and am feeling a tad...fuzzy? I'm guessing this is normal. Does anyone have an experience to share about jumping from 150s to 300s?

For what it's worth, I have also had a pretty low libido and read increasing my dosage may help with that too. But really, I just want to not be having hopeless intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and issues sleeping. Thanks!
