Hey folks,
I took Bupropion for one month around August/September of 2022. It ultimately didn't agree with me (slightly manic, strong anxiety) and I discontinued it.
While I was on it I became extremely sensitive to caffeine, which I know many people report. Even a tiny amount made me super jittery and anxious and it was very uncomfortable. The issue I am having is that even months and months later, my caffeine sensitivity has not returned to normal. I am still extremely sensitive and can hardly even drink a cup of tea without feeling terrible. This was not a problem before taking the Bupropion. I never enjoyed a large amount of caffeine intake, one cup of coffee was plenty, but I don't dare even consider that now.
I don't understand how it can be possible that one month of Bupropion could have made some kind of permanent change to my caffeine tolerance, but does anyone else have experience with this?? I had the audacity to drink an earl grey latte this afternoon and I feel like hell, I don't understand why this is still going on. Thank you
